Brief
In 2008 Parliament Hill School (North London, UK) commissioned me to deliver workshops to Year 10 pupils. The aim was to create a window that reflected the demographics of the school.
Inspiration
We looked at patterns from Africa (outside border), the Western traditional quilting pattern (hexagons), Islamic pattern (blue shapes) and the Asian Yin Yang symbol.
Materials
Transparent vinyl adhered to polypropylene and permanently fitted into window frame.
Technique
Collage and drawing.
